While at the hospital once for an appointment, I heard these directions given to another person from the guy at the info desk, "Take this elevator down two floors and make 5 lefts."

I never saw the other patient again.



I think my pants are missing.

My friend Blair was in his front yard when a couple from Cananda (Quebec) asked him how to back to the Interstate. "Take the next four right hand turns,,,) they drove back by 15 minutes later !!!!

Back in the early/mid 1960s I worked/hung out at a gas station that was about a 1/2 mile from where vechicles got off the NY Thruway in Albany NY.

We gave out more directions than selling gas.

We got asked so many times that we had it down to how many traffic lights to use as a reference.

How do I get to Albany hospital? Go down 5 lights turn left, go two lights and turn right.

How do I get to city hall? Go down 10 lights, turn right and it will be 3 lights down on your left.

We had it right down to a science short, simple and easy to remember!
