Google MAIG and see if your town's mayor belongs to this anti-gun group. A number of mayors who belonged initially have dropped out when they learned it was anti-gun, not anti-bad guy. How about yours?

Good on you, neighbor - some of our City Councilmen(Tullahoma, TN) wanting to opt out, and caught heck from some of us gun people - so, we are carrying!

I just read one of the MAIG press releases saying that the membership of mayors has reached 450 (6/09) which represents over 56 million citizens. They would have you believe that what your mayor supports represents what you believe, therefore you must support MAIG, since your mayor does. What crap! I find that I only believe in about 15% of what my governor and representatives in D.C. support. MAIG just is using the Slick Press to further their agenda. If you research further, you'll learn that some of the cities named on the MAIG list are NOT members of MAIG and that in spite of being told to remove the city, MAIG still uses it as a supporter. Didn't Joe Stalin use similar tactics? A pox on MAIG!

Did not find any local mayors on the list but did find several from N.C. Is there a way that I or we can call their attention to the fact that they are essentially involved with an anti-gun movement in case they are unaware? Yep, some are that ------, I meant Gullible.
