I have some that I "value" more, but for sheer fun I have to say the model 41 with ultra dot sight is the most fun to shoot; low noise, cheap to shoot, plus rewarding when you hit what you aim at!

I'm a bit nostalgic about my favorite guns. My favorite rifle sits in my safe most of the time. It's a Winchester Model 94 .30-30 my dad bought new in 1954, and gave to me 10 years later for deer hunting. It was the first gun I owned, and it still gets used for hunting.
My favorite handgun is my 2 1/2 inch 66-3 that I bought for off duty carry when I first pinned on a badge. It comes out of the safe every night when I get home, and sits in my bedside dresser drawer, just in case I need a friend should SHTF.
While my other guns are dear to me, and each has a role, those two are my favorites because of the amount of history we share.

VERY difficult call. In what is the right order today, at this moment, perhaps
H&R USRA Pistol with adjustable sight radius and Roper grips
S&W M15 2", DAO and Rogers grips (two of them)
S&W PC 629 3" double-Magnaported with Fishpaw grips
FN LAR 50.00

Hi:
Not one favorite, but four (4)
1. Savage Model 1904 .22 Rf Single Shot Bolt Action. (Mom and Dad gave it to me in 1950-my first "Real Gun")
2. Smith and Wesson Model 10 4" SB blued (Mom and Dad gave it to me in 1962 when I entered LEO)
3. Browning Auto-5 12gauge 3" magnum 32" FC barrel shotgun (Mom and Dad gave it to me in 1964 for my Birthday-Dad had one that he hunted with for years)
4. Colt Huntsman .22 Pistol 6" barrel (wife gave it to me in 1976 for Christmas)

It would be one of these two, the S&W K38 and Kimber K22.

Me too, pretty much all of them. I'd have to break it down this way,
Shotgun. Remington 1100 12ga. My first firearm.
Rifle. Ruger 10/22. I have others, bigger calibers, none more versatile.
Auto-pistol, Colt 1911 Series 70 Mk.IV
Revolver, S&W Model 19 Combat Magnum.
That's today, always subject to change.

I don't own many guns (yet), but my favorite is by far my Smith & Wesson Model 58 (41 magnum).
Was lucky and found it sitting in a LGS. Shoot great, carries well, and looks awesome.

I've changed my mind since 2009. Now I think I'd choose my 1894c Marlin. About as close to an all purpose gun as I own.

For me there are two:
1. My wife just gave me a custom made late Lancaster County flintlock rifle with brown maple stain, brass furniture, browned swamped .45 caliber barrel and double-set triggers. It took eight months from order to delivery.
2. Deb received a nice bonus from IBM several years ago. I work for myself and never get bonuses so she gave me one from hers. It is a .44-40 caliber Uberti Henry rifle.

I like anything I'm shooting that day, but if I have to choose a favorite it would be my M1 Carbine (Winchester). It's just a lot of fun to shoot.

auto would be my 3913s and 14s
Most fun the last year or so.......... My CZ 452 FSs (Mannlichers) in .22lr,.22mag and 527 FS in .223. Great accurate "old school" guns at reasonable prices.

I bought this Dan Wesson used from a local fellow who shoots at the same range my wife and I frequent.
He considered it "the runt of the litter" in his real collection, most of which are high end 1911's from Les Baer Custom, Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, and others.
But, it is my pride and joy.

My Bersa .380 Thunder ACP is fun, but I would have to say I have gotten the most joy out of my Ruger 10/22. Looking at throwing a Nikon Prostaff Rimfire on it for some new glass...anyone use this scope?

Zombie Thread!
Not sure if I just can't make a decision, or if I really don't know, but I can't pick a favorite. I do believe that if it came down to only one gun, it would be one of the Colt 1911s. I'm just not sure which one...!
If it came down to only one rifle, it would be a Winchester. Again, don't know what one...

Favorite handgun would have to be the S&W Military Model .44spl. that my Grandfather gave me when I first got my pistol permit.
My favorite rifle is an stock 1931 vintage 1903 Springfield that was my first gun. My father gave it to me when I was 8 years old.

I'm afraid I can't narrow it any lower then saying S&W. I have become partial to blued N frames in 4", although my latest purchase was a nice 1917.
