Anyone seen or have a mini gun?
I was surfing youtube and found these videos on miniguns. My fingers are way too big to even want to try to shoot one LOL.
Mini-Revolver Video
Mini Gold Colt 1911
Here's my mini gun but it's not really so Mini but very effective at close range.

Had a Freedom Arms .22 LR Mini-revolver and belt buckle. It wasn't too bad to fire. I'm sorry I sold it as FA no longer makes them.

This is my only 'lil one. I like that it has a notch between the chambers to lower the hammer on so it shouldn't be able to fire.
It takes awhile to figure out how to hold it to actually hit anything with it. Black powder marks on your hands are a given.
I'd like to find one of the Freedom Arms versions one day. They don't have the safety notch though.

Wow! That engraved Colt is really nice!
Here's the only little one I have... the slide moves, as does the hammer and grip safety. It does fire (unfortunately, I don't have any ammo or caps to try out).

I have 3 NAA mini - revolvers a .22Mag - .22LR (like Joni Lynns) Also a .22 BP model.
The .22 mag is the easyist to shoot, simply because it's the biggest which makes it easyer to hold and aim.
I've never shot the BP model.

Mini-Revolver Owners:
The factory will install a lanyard ring for a small charge. Then the revolver can be carried on a neck chain.

That's how I at times carry my KelTec P32. The factory part #P32-379 will fit both the P32 and the P3AT.

Yepp. Got one of each, (revolver and singelshot)
YouTube - World's smallest pistol. Austria 2mm pinfire miniature guns.
Designed to shoot blanks but can be loaded with a 2mm lead ball.
Absolutly deadly (at least for rats)

I have had a NAA mini 22 mag for years. Great little backup. My first I had in '88 and used as my "Onion field insurance". Fit into a pack of cigarettes. Found a kydex type neck holster for my current one that makes it real easy to carry. You can't put it in the holster unless the hammer is in one of the safety notches. Working on getting the boot grip from NAA for it. Should make it a bit easier to shoot.

I have this one on my belt everywhere I go. It's not much of a defense revolver, but it might give someone a cause for pause.
This is a North American Arms example in .22LR, and I carry it in a folding holster (illustrated) that doubles as a larger grip when extended. Doesn't weigh much, so it's always with me, even when I wear a more serious piece of ordnance.
Since I used to work for Dillon, I've also seen the REAL "Mini-gun" which is an electrically driven Gatling in .308 caliber. Unfortunately, it's a bit heavy to pack...

I have one just like this. I have never fired it. I like that I can put it in my front pocket and most people assume it is a knife.

I thought you were talking about this one.
General Electric XM214 Minigun
I did see one at a gun show here about 8 years ago on display.

I carry my Freedom Arms .22LR Mini-Revolver in an old eye glass case which has a snap closure flap and metal pocket clip, in my shirt pocket. Unless I go through a metal detector, no one ever knows it's there. Of course, there's also my 5903's (Galco MC-244 and SOB-244, 5:00 position) and my 637-2 in my Bianchi # 12 ankle holster.

I have a NAA 22 LR for 10 years now. Bought it when I lived in Calif. & did metal detecting in the Sierra Foothills. Loaded 2 snakeshots then 3 LR hollowpoints. Did the job on rattlers. Tried to use my S&W .22 in belt holster but got in the way digging & the cord wrapped around the gun butt. NAA fits in my back pocket just fine & is handy.

Don't underestimate NAA minis!
For their size they are ferocious weapons. I don't recommend them as a primary, or even a BUG when something bigger will work, but they have their place. I carry and use the things. The Black Widow is impressively accurate.
I fired my 1 1/8" .22 lr. mini into Perma-Gel and got 7"+ penetration with several types of ammo even through heavy cloth.
Another forum member posted that he'd seen a man hauled into the ER where he worked who had been hit three, or four times in the chest with one and the guy very nearly died of his very serious injuries. Others have not been so lucky.

In addition to the little miniature Colt 1911, I've got this little Browning:

mini
A friend of mine just bought one of the same type mini's that you show. His came with a plastic case & an adapter that screwed onto the barrel to accepr small flares. The flare is ignited by shooting the pinfire projectile into the flare adapter. A neat item, but no paper work, I don't know who made it or when, Jim.

I hadn't heard the "Onion field insurance" terminology, but I carried a FA .22 in a pocket sewed behind the zipper in the fly of my uniform pants for the same reason.
"I don't care if you are gonna shoot me, I gotta pee."
I figgered if I got my zipper down and got hold of that rascal (the gun, dammit!) somebody was gonna get a .22 round in the eye socket.
