Digging through some of my old music collection. Bonnie Raitt.
Looking through my old music collections of LP vinyl and cassettes and found Bonnie Raitts "Road Tested" 2 tape live concert.
One of mine and my wife's favorite songs, " I can't make you l ove me" Some other good songs with Jackson Brown.
Lots of old memories.
Youtube version:
YouTube - I Can't Make You Love Me By Bonnie Raitt
Like this one almost as well.

"Guess you and I are the only ones with good taste in music. "
Setting aside the question of musical tastes, let's get down to the more important question of by what quirk of evolution did the gene for red hair become recessive? This must be some anti-Darwinian mistake?
Seriously, watching this guitarless performance reinforces her formidable status as an outstanding talent....

Just found this thread. Have always liked Bonnie Raitt. One of a number of female vocalist who have and continue to produce excellent music. On my short list of favorite female singers.

She played a concert at Northwestern Univ. in 1976, a truly memorable evening.

Bonnie Raitt is as good as they get. She's respected in various musical circles.
I think she's played with more other diverse artists than any female singer/guitar player. There's a reason she seems to pop up everywhere,She's good!!!Real Good!!!!!

Just picked up Road Tested at my favorite boutique, (Goodwill) on CD for $1.99, it's been in the CD player in my truck since then. Love her blues guitar, good singer, and she's a redhead, I'm married to one of the clan, so, I guess I'm biased.
Good tunes...

I would like to find the performance she did with Kim Wilson from The Fabulous Thunderbirds. It was "Just In Case The Two Of Us Are Wrong."
Chased around on Youtube the other day but couldn't find it.
I liked her early stuff a lot. When she went more Rhythm & Blues I wasn't as interested.

She has played with all the blues greats.
This fine lady plays a mean guitar, and learned from the masters. She is the real deal.

One of my favorites of hers is "I Ain't Blue", written and originally recorded by Dave Ray and Willie Murphy. Can't find Bonnie doing this song on youtube. There are a lot of covers, but here is the original.

"Love Letter" is probably my favorite Bonnie Rait song. I really enjoy slide guitar and she slides better than most.

Ya gotta (that's New York speak) love a good-looking redhead that plays a mean slide guitar on a Fender Stratocaster.
P.S. - I'm a fan of redheads and Fender Stratocasters. I have at least one of each.
