Let's see, got my boots, hat, belt, holster and BBQ gun, now all I need is a shirt.

I need to get me a cowboy shirt. When I was in Tulsa at the last show I noticed a few western wear stores in the area.

Can anyone recommend a good store in Tulsa? Being a city slicker, I am unaware of brand names, so if anyone can recommend a store/brand name, that would help.

If you've got a Tractors Supply anywhere near you, they sell some pretty nice cowboy shirts. I love their Rodeo variation Wrangler jeans.

There is a store called Drysdales at about 71st and Mingo and the last time I was in Tulsa they had some really good sales. I bought a great pair of Cowboy boots that were normally $150 for fifty five bucks.

Try Evans Western wear on LaVerne St. This outfit only set me back a hundred bucks, with pants....but they only had 33/15s so they are being shortened.

Hey Sip, is that where you got those buttless chaps?

Sir, just to clarify, chaps are buttless by definition. All they cover is your legs. Chaps that also cover your butt are more commonly known as "trousers." ;)

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

In a world where a guy can order Roast Beef with Au Jus Gravy, Today's Soup du Jour, Pizza Pie, Andouille Sausage, Rotini Pasta, Shrimp Scampi, Spinach Florentine, a Cheese Quesadilla, a Panini Sandwich, dine in a room lit with wall sconces, play a game of bocce ball, or smoke a Parliament (with the filter that's recessed in), I don't think it's excessively over the top to refer to buttless chaps. But that's just my own personal opinion.

I recommend Drysdales. Good prices, fine salespeople and you can get your hat bent any shape you want there for a very reasonable price.

I don't know what ya'll are looking for but I'm kinda partial to the Wrangler Blue Denim Pearl Snap Shirt. If you are not into blue they come in other colors. Ha

Thanks guys, Drysdales is right around the corner from my hotel. So is Cavender's. Between the two of them, I should be able to find what I am looking for.

Another, yet more time consuming, route is to hop in the car and head down to Oklahoma City to the Stockyards. Go for lunch at the Cattleman's Steakhouse. Cattlemen's Steakhouse - Oklahoma City Stockyards

When you are done with lunch (or dinner) stroll across the street to the store called Langston's. A great western apparel store. I used to buy my boots there all the time.
