Tonight on TCM in about an hour (8:40PM western time) is THE Last Hunt. It's about buffalo hunters and they really shoot buffalo in the movie. Probably not a favorite idea of PETA or maybe some forum members, but the actors shoot a Sharps and a 1876 Winchester, while off camera live ammo shooters really kill the buffalo. Robert Taylor is brilliant as the pychotic killer.

Is that the one that the guy freezes to death wrapped in the buffalo skin? I think I saw that many, many years ago as a child...

Me, too! We literally just walked in the door from going to place called The Flaming Grill that serves exotic meat burgers. They had lion the other day and got picketed so we went today to eat there and support them. But there were no protesters to make fun of!

I loved that movie...I think I saw it on Saturday night at the movies in the late sixty's or early seventies...it really left an impression...
