Default Bear attacking live buck

At the Sportsmans Blog, http://sportsmansblog.com/2010/09/02...gressive-bear/ there is an article and pictures of a bear attacking a still living although injured buck. I always thought they just ate the remnants of a kill. I come up on black bear as I walk on logging roads once or twice a year but they are shy and bolt once they are aware of me. I'll have to remind myself to walk as if I'm not injured.
