I got an important phone call today.....
I picked the phone and Rusty was on the other end. We had a long talk about all kinds of things and I told him how well I'm doing.
I laughed a good bit and felt uplifted. That was a surprise and it really made my day.

I heard from Rusty today too. Unfortunately the physical therapist who has been working with me on the cardiac stuff was due anytime, but we'll gab some more.
After having long since convinced me to buy one, he finished selling me on a certain small handgun which is apparently de rigeur at his house, and which I had just bought.
Good to hear from you, maestro. I'm glad you're back out in the sunlight.
Strange man, but a damn good one.

What IS this special pistol? Just to hazard a guess I think it might be a Shield.

We also had a nice chat about all kinds of things and-that thread I started to give yall a heads up on a fast one I'm planning on pulling in yall sometime soon-is because of something we touched on.
