My daughter is in her clinical rotations for her final year of Pharmacy School (graduates in May 2018). Her boyfriend is a Physician's Assistant and lives in Louisiana. They have been going together for the last 3-4 years, in a long distance relationship (Alabama and Louisiana).
He calls me yesterday and tells me he plans on proposing to her the end of July and ask for my blessing, which of course I say "yes" (would it have done any good to say NO). He said he had been dreading this phone call for weeks and all most threw up before the call.
So, in a couple of years I guess I'll have a son-in-law who has a good head on his shoulders and does like guns.
The condo at the end of the building sold last fall, After a little remodeling and repaint a early something moves in (rumor from the realtor is, she just wrote a check). Ashley is a PhD in pharmacy for one of the chains nearby. We exchange pleasantries and wave. But that girl works her butt off! She drives a sport model of Volvo, He suitor drives a big dollar Mercedes sports car! There is good money in prescriptions!
Of a good bit of pocket money and then more from your savings. Hopefully he is a fine person who will be a great addition to your family and make a few more additions.

After a few "questionable" boyfriends, my 25 year old daughter seems to finally of found a good one too, great job, loves the outdoors, and very motivated to achieve. Been pretty serious for over a year so I've got my fingers crossed. Funny how I didn't worry this much about her two older brothers.
Now if her younger sister will follow suit.
So I got the phone call..........
