It went like this, "One Scotch, One Bourbon, One Beer".. I want to download it and a few of his other drunken songs but I can't find it on Napster. I think his name is Charlie or Charles Throughgood but I can't spell his last name right.

Thanks in advance.

One of the great live rocked out/blues out live shows. I saw him two nights in a row in 1978 at a little S.F. club with a two foot stage and we could dance three feet from the band. Thanks for stirring up those memories.

You might also be thinking about the song "Hey Bartender" which has been performed by a number of blues musicians over the years. The only recording of this song I can think of right now is the Blues Brothers from their first album which came out before the movie.

I don't know who recorded it first, but my favorite version is that of John Lee Hookers.
George's version is a stone cold jam, and actually a combination of that song and "the house rent boogie" also by Hooker.

GOT IT! I drink alone was the other song I wanted for some reason.

Are some of you, "drink alone" kind of guy? I have a few friends who NEVER drink alone, have to be with someone. Me, I don't need any babysitting. I do better alone then with others most of the time. Just me.:D:eek:

+1 (and more to make 10 characters)

There's the great Rory Galagher doing "Too Much Alcahol" which might be a cover.
Also, a funny novelty country song called "Super Drunk".

If you like that one, try Boom Boom (out go the lights) by Pat Travers. Another great blues rock drinkin' partyin' song.
