Some skills you never forget. That was truly an amazing generation of veterans. They never got to do just their tour of duty and go home, they were there until it was over and some much after that. God bless them all and THANK YOU !!!! Joe

Just like riding a bike I guess.
One of my uncles fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was wounded, and got a purple heart there.
I didn't even know he was there until fairly recently
when one of my relatives mentioned it.
He was one of my grandfathers brothers. One of three
that fought in WW2. They all went into different services.
He was in the Army, my grandfather in the Navy "Pacific duty
on the USS Canotia", and another was a transport pilot in the
Air Force.
