Can I (NC) legally ship to an FFL dealer in FL for transfer to a friend?
As I understand, it's OK but must be overnight? Just want to make sure.

Make contact with the FFL first. Make sure he will accept from an individual as some will not. The FFL will send you what you need and tell you what he needs from you. Then you can ship it out FedEx/UPS overnight.

If you can find a local FFL willing to help you out, he can ship it USPS for a fraction of the $. FedEx / UPS could be $60 or more.

If you have a friendly FFL in your area you can save about 50% by having him ship it priority mail to the FFL at the destination. My FFL charges me $15 plus the actual cost of the shipping and insurance so it usually runs about $40.00 to ship the gun verses $80 to $100 for over night.
