Excluding the S&W M952, does any gun company make a "production-line" 9MM semi-auto pistol with a 6 (six) inch barrel/slide?

I know the Glock 34 is 5.3" and the XD Tactical is 5", and there are 5" 1911s in 9MM. But I can't find any reference to a 6-inch 9MM.

Are 6" 9mm aftermarket barrels available for the Glock 34 and XD Tactical? If so, do they work correctly without any other changes to the guns?

Thanks for any info.

I will have to dissinfect my hard drive after typing this word, but Glock reintroduced their 6" model 17L a year or two ago. That's the model they dropped when they introduced the 5.3" barrel. New 17Ls were in several LGSs including Cabela's for $700 but I haven't noticed any for awhile.

Olympic Arms/ Safari Arms/ Schutzen Gun Works made 6" barrels for a variety of autos, CZ including 1911s, Glocks, Sigs etc. I'm not sure what name they'd associate with the barrels, but it's all the same factory in Washington. A LGS owned by some of their employees has a lot of the barrels. The factory has a walk in retail store but my guess is the employees got the barrels because the company stopped manufacturing and stocking them. I have nothing to do with the store or factory but I'd give you addresses etc. by PM if you want.

The latest "hot rod 1911 IPSC" match gun in the closest big city is an expensive STI double stack compensated 9mm with a fairly long slide but I'm not sure how much of that length is the compensator. In a quick look at STI's web page I didn't find that model but they do show a 6" 9mm double stack 9mm. Are you trying to assemble a less expensive gun to compete against that STI?

Just as a historical note, Mitchel manufactured stainless 6" Lugers, but nothing else comes to mind in 6". I doubt they'd serve your purpose but Thompson Center made 9mm barrels for their Contender in their standard 10" length.

SIG has announced a long slide version of their new P210-9 Legend. So far it is vaporware, none seen or seen up close at least on this continent. I suspect that it will be north of $3000 when and if it actually happens.
The regular 4.7” barreled version was to be delivered in March---nothing yet.

STI makes a 6" Trojan 9mm 1911 style.

from what I hear....they are accurate.

I have a 5" Trojan Nina thats plenty accurate and a 6" TargetMaster Nina that I am still learning to master. The 50 yd accuracy potential is there, just need to find the right load and work on my skills.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

"Glock reintroduced their 6" model 17L"
I had a memory lapse and forgot about the 17L. I knew there was a 6-incher out there.

No. My son-in-law thinks he needs a 6" 9MM and I'm trying to help him find one. He's not interested in spending $2-3K for an STI or SIG, so the Glock 17L is probably about what he "needs".

I found a couple on GB, but if anyone has a lead on a NIB or LNIB G17L for sale, please email or PM the info to me.

That STI Trojan 6.0 is also a possibility - at $1,500 it's in the "affordable" range.

Thanks again.

SIG has made P-210's with longer than usual barrels in the past,. for target use. I think those barrels may be six-inchers.

The guns also had adjustable sights.
