I didn't go this time, but in the past I don't remember a lot of "jerky". The problem I have is the aisles are too crowded and narrow, and you have to put up with unbathed, dirty clothed, stinky sub human homo sapiens walking around. And then of course you have the wanna be military, Navy Seal, commando types and the gang bangers with their pants around their knees and their posteriors showing.
I say have a dress code, and a smellometer at the entrance.

never has been alot of jerky at the medina show unless your defination of jerky is what some of the sellers are trying to do to justify their prices.
yes i was there. imo attendence was down from some previous shows, it wasn't as crowed as i've seen in the past.

I bought my first firearm at the Medina gunshow with the generous advice of a forum member. An S&W Model 915 that will never leave my collection. I've been to a lot of bigger gun shows since, but I wouldn't mind checking out the Medina show again someday.

Medina gun show
Anyone care to rank that show in size to some of the others held in Ohio?
Just wondering if it would be worth the drive to go up there.

It really isn't too bad of a show. It is smaller than the Berea gun show at the Fairgrounds during the summer shows, bur better than the winter ones, where everybody is crammed into one or two buildings.
I think it is also better than the Summit County Fairground gun show.

The poor kids may not be crying from being stepped on
Having your nose down there at their level can't be pleasant!

Since we're talking the NE Ohio area. If anyone doesn't know about the S&W meeting at North Olmsted on Oct 1, check out my post in the lounge for info on it. The only requirement is that you like S&W's. Its a lot of fun, good people and good conversation. Larry

I have not hit the Medina show in about a year and went on Saturday morning. It was pretty ****** IMHO. A lot of way overpriced guns being walked around and I did not see any "deals" on tables. It was overcrowded with women, small kids, and at least one guy in a scooter type vehicle blocking aisles that had a LOT of people backed up big time. That is just unsafe and has to be a fire code violation of some type.
Maybe 80% tire kickers wandering in circles. I prefer Berea over the Medina show. Not near as big but an entire class of people and firearms different. I did sell a rifle but it was to a guy I knew and use to work with. Its bad when you want $250 for a new out of box rifle and the tables have the same rifle that looks like it was dragged to the show behind a truck for a mere $350'ish.
