I had one of the 22 lr units. I sold it a month or so ago as I never used it. It worked very well even with the wrong twist in my rifle for a 36-40 gr bullets.

What did he do??

in a nut shell, he sold (and accepted payment for) many conversion kits that he didnt have, and arguably never intended to produce

Let's not be too quick to judge here. The authorities like nothing better than to put certain types out of business. Remember, Ceiner built more than just conversion units--he built hush kits, too. We don't put folks in jail for being a grouch. If he is crooked, I guess he will hang, but 20K is chump change, so I will need a bit more evidence before I pick up rocks for the stoning. (Yes, I have a Ceiner for my HP and it works flawlessly!)

Thumbs down JOHNATHAN CEINER FRAUD CASE

Has anyone in FLORIDA heard anything else about the Johnathan Ceiner (the .22 caliber conversion man with VERY POOR customer service) fraud case?

Arthur Ceiner is and has always been a Dirt Bag! Every single person I have ever known to deal with him can attest to that. The real shame of it is that he actually had a great product at a reasonable price that was in demand. There was absolutely no reason for him to have been he way he is. Not only is he a Dirt Bag, but he is quite stupid on top of it for conducting business the way he had all those years. There is NO EXCUSE for treating people like he did---- NONE!! I hope he gets what he deserves.

Quite honestly, that is the only reason I never purchased one of is conversion kits for myself. I saved up the extra coin and bought an original Colt .22 ace conversion kit just so I would not have to become one of is statistics.

I have a kit for the 92fs that works well.

I have had it for years and I do not use it much anymore.

I bought one of his 1911 conversion kits years ago. It's real picky about what it shoots and jams a lot even with the stuff it does.

I bought my units for my M1911 and Browning HP. Both are well finished, well made and worth the money. But I was warned about the lousy customer service.
