USA Today
Anyone see the article in USA Today about the record breaking amount of gun sales on Black Friday?
Sales topped the previous high by almost 30,000 guns.

Dang!! I missed out on that. I guess I'll have to double up and buy two one day next week.

I ordered a pistol from Jet Guns that day. It took them until Wednesday to ship it.

I'm doing the best I can; ordered a Kahr CW45 today. Didn't know if Santa was going to produce so I took the initiative.

Nope, I missed that. If I'd known they were looking at that,
I'd have done my part. TACC1

The government looks at everything we do. Someone, somewhere in the government can say how many rolls of toilet paper was used on any given day. They know how many miles we will travel on any holiday and how many us will be travelling. It is only natural for them to keep track of not only how many guns were sold but what type guns they were.

I suspect that there is a growing awareness that entitlement programs are going to take a hit and unskilled employment is going to stay low, so the numbers of burgaries, robberies and home invasions is not going down anytime soon. At the same time, law enforcement budgets and 911 programs are getting pinched too.

It was on the local news for me based in Chicago. They based it on 4473 applications. Out of the 4 network local news programs I receive, WGN "seems" to have presented the least biased approach to the report.

I did my part. Filled out the papers for a 21-4.
System was slow and I didn't get to pick it up until a couple of days later.

If that was their basis, do they really know how many guns were sold, or just how many 4473s were filled out?
