Smith & Wesson will be closed for their annual winter shutdown from December 23 until January 2. Not only production, but also repairs and customer service will be closed. And I'd think twice about calling customer service the week of Jan 2, unless you really enjoy their hold music. Past experience says they'll be swamped!
