Name the Mystery Drink
Here's a question from a friend on another (non gun) board. Can you help her recall what the drink described is called? Keep in mind that it is non-alcoholic. I didn't even know they had such things.
OK, does anyone know the name of this drink? I had it today at the Hard Rock and it was delicious!
It had Pineapple Juice, Mango Juice, Strawberry Juice, Grenadine and Sprite, and was garnished with a Merischino Cherry and a fresh hunk of Pineapple. The name escapes me at the moment, but it was so good... (Normally I would not pay $8 for a non-alcoholic bev. but, I have to say it was worth it.)

Thanks. I'll ask her.
The lady wondering is pretty sharp about food issues and has authored a cookbook. She'll probably know the name if she sees it.
If we don't get it here, I guess she can call the Hard Rock next week. I just want to impress her with how much this board knows.

Sounds suspiciously like a Mango-Berry cooler. Ask her if it came in a souvenir Hurricane glass. (Souvenir glass=twice normal cost of drink.) LOL

It is called the HRRO. Stands for the Hard Rock Rip Off. What else would you call a $8 glass of fruit juice and Sprite?

Many years ago, I bought some punch drink in Trader Vic's that came in a big glass shaped like a green Remington 12 ga. shell. Good glass, and the gold base had some real gold content, I think. I forget what I paid for the glass, but read much later that it was by then quite valuable. The company that made them also made glassware for the JFK White House. I think they're now out of business.
Alas, I can't find the glass, which I used to display on a bookcase. I think it vanished during a move, probably when I left my wife. But if any of you have those glasses, better write to, "Sporting Classics" and see what they're worth.
