Sounds to me like BS. When you finally get your gun, next time use another dealer.

You bet your Bippy you're getting the run around! I work for an LGS and he could have checked the gun in while you waited. My LGS books the gun in and calls the customer.

My LGS prefers to NOT open the package unless he runs out of his regulated time. He lets the customer open so there is no question as to how the gun was packaged/received.

I would be at your gun shop first thing in the AM when they open and make a major ruckus!!

Good Luck

Tell him you are coming to pick up your gun.

Read him the ATF rule and ask him if he'd like to call THEM and tell THEM he hasn't had the time to log the gun.

He is an idiot.

Gun was received in Thursday. Logged in on Friday. Should have called Saturday but the FFL I use is open 10-6 Tues through Sat. Saturday is busy, every week. Next business day is Tuesday. Go on over tomorrow and say "Hey." They might just remember they have a gun for you before you ask. Joe
