FFL Transfers Question

It's not a big shop so I can't imagine they have tons of guns to check in but I did get a call earlier this evening that I could come pick it up. Thank God! I'll post pictures of the new baby when I get the chance.
 
I must have the best transfer agent on the planet. After I notify him I've won an auction he faxes his FFL to seller, usually within minutes after getting my email. Then he confirms by email that the FFL was faxed. When the package arrives he checks in the gun and calls me right away. On my answering machine is "Your package has arrived." When I go to his place of business I fill out the form then he immediately calls it in. 5 minutes maximum. I'm in and out of there in 10 minutes. $15 total cost.

I don't know if you can do this where you live but I use pawn shops to do my transfers. Gun stores here charge a lot of money to do a transfer like $65. Pawn shops charge $30 for everything. Gun shops here don't like to do transfers because they want you to buy the gun from them. Don
