Anyone listen to Pandora Radio, question??

Resolve your IP conflicts should you have any.

Thanks
I am very conflicted;)

I am listening to that Slacker Station that speedyquad recommended

Pulled up an oldie,Traffic Gold Album!
Lot of greats on that.
I don't think I can send it to my home theater, I only have a dumb phone.

I have it playing on my desktop but how do I send it to my A/V receiver??
that would be through a headphone jack or hdmi...unfortunately, they don't have an app for tv's as of yet. in your opinion, how does it compare to pandora?

When I was using Windows I had a Linksys Wireless Bridge. It's about the size of a small router and it plugs into the any of the input jacks on the back of your receiver. You can then send music wirelessly from the computer directly to the receiver. Now that I use mostly Apple stuff, I use Apple TV and Airport Express to send music and movies from my iMac to any stereo or TV in the house. Home networks are fun. :)

I remember when Napster was the cat's pajamas. Took almost an hour to upload two songs. It's bloody amazing how far this stuff has come.

Oh yeah... I remember. Things have come a long way.

Speaking of... all that music downloaded from Napster and other sites of their time in 128kbps can all be upgraded to 256 using Apple iTunes Match. It's like amnesty for all those less than kosher downloads.

iTunes Match looks at your library and gives you access (as well as download and replace the songs on your computer with 256 if you choose) to each of your songs from their "Cloud" library. Windows computer is fine with iTunes installed, and will also stream directly from the Cloud to an iPad, iPhone and Apple TV. With Apple TV, I can listen to all my music on my home stereo without the computer on. Just turn on the TV and enjoy. Wife really likes the living room easy access to our library of 9050 songs. Did I mention that home networks are fun? :)

I have only messed with it a few minutes but I Like it.

Has the whole album and you can pick individual tracks.

Thanks for the suggestion, I can play in on my computer and I have good 5.1 speakers powered sub woofer.:D

you're welcome. i never really liked pandora. i would put in an artist, listen and only hear on song from them, but lots from similar artists that i didn't know. a few were good, many weren't. slacker seems to stick with what you want. commercials aren't overly annoying either.
