Lefty Made Me Famous....
Our esteemed holster maker Lefty Lewis from Bell Charter Oak Holsters has just added the "Sebago Kit Gun" field holster to his line-up.
Here's a few snapshots of this new design, and a shameless plug for my pal... The "Sebago Kit" can be found here... BCO FIELD AND SERVICE HOLSTERS (607) 783-2483 (scroll to the bottom of the page).
I should have taken these photos when the holster first arrived last week... it's already been in the field for a couple of days and has earned a few scratches... This is "Real World" leather and I will work it hard.
Not sure if Lefty intended this, but as an interesting aside, the new Sebago Kit holster not only works with a 2" Smith 34, but also my 2214!
Anyone who has a 2214 or 2213 knows how hard it is to find a good, rugged leather harness for these little guns....
All of Lefty's stuff is rugged and solidly built. I am looking forward to many seasons afield with my Smith .22's and Lefty's new "Sebago Kit Holster"...
You can find all of Lefty's stuff here.... BELL CHARTER OAK CUSTOM HOLSTERS (607) 783-2483
Thanks Amigo Lefty!

I wish I had your talent as a photgrapher, it would save me from paying a pro for our catalog. I appreciate your kind remarks and ask if I can use some of your photos on our internet catalog (with credit to you) because they are so very good?
To avoid any confusion, I should mention that the material of your holster was crafted in English Bridle. We currently use a superior full grain bullhide.
Thanks for your kindness, and yes, I knew it would also fit the 2213/2214. I don't like to build generic rigs, but this holster will also fit many small autos too.
Cheers;
Lefty

Very cool holster Drew & Lefty!
I got in on a sale from Bell Charter Oak Holsters right here in the classifieds and I can tell you they make the top shelf stuff.
Never settle for cheap holsters, always buy good leather for your carry guns.

Lefty, why of course! Use anything I've ever put up for you...
If you'd like more items photographed, just send them on up! Just don't expect all of them back!

If this holster was made for a 4" barrel 34/63 revolver would it also fit a 4.5" barrel S&W 422/622/2206?

Yur' startin' to pine like a real genuine gun magazine writer. Never squeezed a plug nickel outta' their hides for any holster I made 'em. Them there fellers' must have the biggest damned box of holsters.....probably fills a four car garage. I think it's their secret retirement plan.
Stay Frosty;

I got my double snap flap rig in black bridle leather courtesy of the recent BCO sale. It's a great holster for out in the field. Fits my Js perfectly. Thanks again Lefty ...

Seriously Lefty, if you need anything 'shot' just send it up with a theme you have in mind and I'll take care of it... I've got just about every kinda gun you'd want to stick in these rigs from an Erma to a Schwarzlose and just about every domestic revolver in between. Your leather is safe with me!

For a 4.5" 422?

CB, my guess is that it would.
The 2214 has a 3" barrel and it fits in the "Sebago Kit" holster intended for a 2" 34. It is a little snug at first as the tang is a little long on the autopistol and it leaves a stress mark on the leather. But after a weekend of pounding the brush the fit seemed to ease....
