I gotta love her!
I didn't finish up work until late Friday, had three meetings that lasted all day Saturday. Yesterday (Sunday) I got up early and was reading the paper before going to church and my darling wife reminded me it was gun show weekend and shouldn't I go! After doing the Lord's work until early afternoon, I was content to come home, finish the paper, take a little nap, do some yard work then help her cook supper.
I haven't told her about the 617 that followed me home a few weeks ago but I'm sure she'll be thrilled to know I haven't lost my touch. Gotta love a woman who reminds me to go have some fun once in a while. We've been together for over 30 years but I'm going to keep her for a lot longer.

I think you ought to figure out why she was trying to get you out of the house...

Now that I am retired and hanging around the house all day my wife will suggest I go reload some "bullets" or "wash your guns" or "go shoot for a couple hours" or "go look at guns". She is a sweetheart for suggesting these things or I am getting on her last nerve. We have been together for 46 years. She is good to me and good for me. She needs a break from from this old fart from time to time.

My wife loves our local gun show. She tolerates the guns and knives but loves the lady that sells the silver jewelry . Of course when I pick up a gun and take a look see, she always says, "are you going to buy that one".

When our kids were younger and I was trying to be fiscally responsible by selling one thing to buy another, usually an upgrade. This same darling wife told me, "Be careful what you sell, with the kids getting to be old enough, you might regret selling something you should have kept". I am simply running out of things to argue about with that woman.
