Default Keeping your guns safe

I hope everyone here is responsible and have made sure your guns are safe from being stolen or borrowed by a less than sane family member. If you own a gun it is your responsibility and I personally would be devastated if someone was able to brake in my house and steel my guns. Mine are kept in a safe and I am the only one that can open it which makes it easy for me to sleep at night.
How is everyone else storing their weapons?
Is there anyone who is not yet thought about this?

I have not thought about it, nor will I ever think about it. My firearms are loaded at the ready.. I don't have to worry about a mentally ill family member stealing my guns or breaking into my home.

I purchased my safe last year. All my firearms are in the safe and secure. My youngest is 30, married and off on her own. It's just the wife and I in the house. I am the only one who has access to the safe.

I sleep better night knowing all my firearms are secure from all dangers.

ALL of my weapons are danger checked(Loaded). They are ALL secured or under my direct possession. Thank you for worrying about me and my weapons. You would make big brother proud.

It just doesn't make sense to not have a gun safe nowadays.

I keep a couple loaded weapons ready for HD when I am home, but when I am away, they are locked away. I will not have a BG use my own weapons against me or others.

Gun ownership entails a lot of reponsibility. I will not give the gun-grabbers any more fuel for their unconsitutional fire.

Agreed. Protecting my family is #1, so nothing wrong with being ready. Spares go in the safe.

This is where "most" of mine live their lives. They rarely get to see the light of day. But on occasion I take them out one by one and give them a good cleaning or take them to the range.

I can't shoot 'me all at once, so except for the CCW piece(s) they're all in a safe. I have little ones, so even the CCW piece gets locked in a drawer if it's not on my person.

Default trigger locks

Right now I only have trigger locks on all my guns. A safe would be ideal. I guess I'll shop around for one.

Edit:
Start off with online research and then check out your local security company. Check out the video posted below.

Here's an eye opener on the construction, and ease of defeating various safes.

I test periodically. I'll load one and lay it in the middle of the floor.

So far so good.
