COMCAST BANS --
Comcast has banned all friearms related ads, including ammo etc. Many of us have no other choice at this time. we will, and I would urge others to chuck them when other choices become available.

I don't believe I have ever seen a gun or ammo ad on TV but then again I live in NJ.

I've never sen a gun related advert, or even a gun related program on Cox Cable, and I live in very gun friendly Virginia.

Well in keeping with that ban they should also stop transmitting any TV show that has guns involved or show in any way.
That should cancel most prime time TV shows. 
We have Comcast Cable TV, never seen a gun related ad.

Same here I never seen a gun or ammo commercials. This sounds like one of them do nothing feel good idea's. Makes them look good and they don't even have to expend any effort.

Wish they would ban ALL commercials. Seems like every time I switch channels , I get another string of commercials.

I have Atlantic Broadband as my cable TV provider here in PA. It is common to see gun, ammo, sporting goods manufacturers advertise on the various "outdoor" channels, though maybe not so common on network TV.
Lots of choices out there for TV service. Vote with your pocketbook, as they say....

Does Comcast carry any outdoor shows? If so, then there are ammo, gun, archery, etc., commercials. Could that be what they have banned? I have Direct Tv and the outdoor shows have had nothing banned so far.

I've seen ads for Henry Rifles on Dish. That would be about it.

Lots of gun ads when you watch the appropriate shows on the Outdoor Channel I get via Cox.

Comcast has the Outdoor Channel here, in HD too. Tonight starting at 2200hrs there's MidwayUSA The Best Defense, Elite Tactical Unit, Gun Stories, Shooting Gallery and then Impossible Shots ending at 0130hrs. It's a three and a half hour gun commercial.

I have Comcast cable. There are several gun/shooting shows on various channels. I never minded watching commercials on broadcast TV. But now that I have cable it really burns my butt that I have to PAY to watch them!

Got rid of Comcast when we moved. We now have Charter and they do local gun shop ads still.
