The Wife and I will be in the Corpus Christi area in mid-may so I thought we could do some fishing while we are there. The private deep sea charters are bit pricey since it's just the two of us. Probably looking at bay fishing for trout/redfish. Anyone have any experience with the guides in the area? Not looking to stray too far from Corpus.

I've looked into the deep water party boats, the price is right but it seems like more of a gamble if you'll have a good time or not.

Any help appreciated.
