B-B-Q Dog Collar With Bullet Loops

Our friends have a huge black dog that acts as a sentry at their house in the Sierra foothills. He's a great dog so I made them a special dog collar for the big lug. Those are deactivated .38 special cartridges. The dog's neck is 22" long so there was lots of room to play with here.

At first I thought of tooling chain links that were broken on each side of each bullet loop. But I'd need a silver or light color. I wasn't about to buy an oddball bottle of dye for this one project. But visually that chain would have been pretty good.

PETA will be incensed by the owner's cruelty in forcing the dog to carry evil items next to his poor self, but other than that, it' just plain cool.
