Talking Support you local gunfighter

It's hot here in Wisconsin, I was in the house flipping through the channels and found a good movie. 'Support your Local gunfighter' With James Garner, Jack Elam and Chuck Conners as Swifty Morgan. Watched in on and off while I was cooking diner for the kids and doing the dishes. It also had Harry Morgan, Suzanne Plesshette and lots of familiar faces.

I wish they made movies like that now.

Saw it many moons ago, good movie, of course I like most anything with James Garner in it.

Garner was splendid in "My Brother's Keeper", playing the brother-caretaker of a schizophrenic, played very convincingly by James Woods. May have been a made-for-TV, don't recall, but it was good.

But then there was "Maverick" and "The Rockford Files"--what wasn't to like?

When I was a little kid I wanted to be Hoppy. Now I want to be Jack Elam when I grow up. Preferably Old Man Phillips in "Rio Lobo".
