Antique Firearms Auction on August 9 and 10th in Wagner, South Dakota. The Richard Kafka Collection auction hosted by Girard Auction. - Girard Auction
Not exactly a barn find, but there a lot of them, that look like they may have been stuffed away in some ole trunk for some time.

I wonder if these came from the German war of some point and time? Reason why I say this is because of the Nazi flag.

I hear ya..(well actually, I READ ya)
I called the auctioneer, just for grins...He said the collector gun auction they had up that way back in May, they had over 350, mostly FFL's guys, and he's expecting that many again. But that was about the height of the feeding frenzy.
He thinks that one of the Winchester "Yellow Boy" is going to bring the big bucks, as well as a 1911 .45 Gov issued with holster.
I'd make the drive, if they offer a free steak dinner on Friday evening, or a free breakfast of steak and eggs, for those that drive to attend. (Well maybe hitchhike, cost too much for gas these days)
On closer look at some of those pics, HMMMMMM....some aren't in that great of shape.
That same auction house has another auction coming up, with a very poor shape 1929 Bird airplane. It's really in pieces, but there are a couple of old OX-5 airplane engines. Even though they are in parts, they would be a good buy...maybe!!!!!!

I have had to build my gun collection slowly and carefully; still, the more that I get, the more that I want. Just a 1903 Springfield, Operable Isreali Mauser, Remington 700 (.308), Marlin 39A, Ruger Red Label with 30 inch barrel, M1 Garand, Springfield M1A1 and others.

My gun collecting process started out very slowly I would go to every gun shop that was in my local area on a regular basis and I attended one specific gun show that is near my home twice a year, and I would look at every single table at least 3 or 4 times looking for my first gun.
Until finally one day out of habit I went directly to the gun counter at my local gander mountain and I found my first gun a S&W Model 36 no dash blued 2 inch barrel made in 1972 and I put it on layaway.
After making payment after payment i finally got her. To this day i miss that gun.

I see the descriptions are peppered with the usual errors.

Probably not. The photos are not that helpful as they are too small. In the case of that particular rifle they forgot the serial number too, very important with regard to collectability.
