Default Firearms Enthsiasts & Grip Nuts

Forgive the topic line, I wanted to grab your attention.

Can anyone give me some feedback on Abigail A. Kohn's book Shooters: Myths and Realities of America's Gun Cultures.

I want a better idea of what I am presently getting into. Already I am more immersed in S&W revolvers that I would ever have imaged. So far I have about seventeen guns, a brand new safe and I looking at buying a second much bigger safe. Some of you teasingly call it a sickness. Well I have a mild to moderate fever. Illnesses are not fun, this affliction is good clean fun. And we all know how the writers of this forum like to have fun and joke around. Until it comes to the topic of furniture, grips. Okay, they aren't that bad.

I'd like to hear about other books and articles that look at this group of Americans, both seriously and with humor. And yes I am reading SCSW. Actually that is the combination to my gun safe.
