.22LR in Ohio
Was in Columbus over the holiday and on the way back home decided to stop by several retail establishments that carry ammo, to see what I could get in the way of .22LR.
Cabela's (Columbus): nada. Lots of other stuff in stock though.
Fin, Feather, Fur (Ashland): PLENTY! Bricks and bricks. Store limits you to 500rds (or 1 525 brick) per customer. Picked up a Federal 525 Value Pack for $30.
Dunham's (Wooster): Not much of a selection, but it's a general sporting goods store that happens to sell a few shotguns and rifles, not really a gun store. No .22LR, a short aisle with various calibers and shotgun shells.
Fin, Feather, Fur (Middleburg): I was hoping I could pick up a second brick, but they only had a small quantity of 50-rd boxes of CCI, and wanted $16 each! I walked out. Seemed like they had lots of everything else.
So, out of four stops, only one had any significant amount of .22LR. I guess the shortage is still on, at least in .22.

Cabela's Columbus only fills the 22's before they open in the morning, most normal days, they are out before noon. Ivan

Saw a pallet of Rem Bucket of Bullets in small LGS in Anderson, IN today. Saw 10 go out the door in the 15 minutes I was there. (2 were mine.)

Chris, hopefully things will get better. The last time this happened, 380 was hard to find. Won't be at Berea but maybe there will be some there. I'm bummed, I'll be in Dayton for the granddaughter's first birthday. Larry

I was at a gun show 3 weeks ago, a guy was looking at ammo.
He asked me if there was such a thing as 380, he had walked the entire show, and found none.
He thought he may have looked at the gun wrong.
I never look for it, I have never had a 380.
My wife just asked me when we are gonna start plinking the CCI Mini-Mags we bought pre-crazyness.
I payed $98 per 1600 round ammo box of Mini-Mags, and thought I was splurging!!

I thought we were out of 380s the other day except for a couple of boxes in the ammo safe. So I bought 2 boxes. (The range /gun shop) only allows 1 box per person at the range to be bought. The store is still not selling revolver/semi auto ammo except for PD rounds. But it's available else where in town.
Anyway when I did ammo inventory the 380's were at a critical low.so I felt I needed to pay the piper. . so we bought the 2 boxes. $25 each! Shot all 9mm and 10mm that day and went home.
The next day I was cleaning the gun room. I moved some stuff from a pile and there BEHOLD was a 350 pack of Blazer brass 380's. I just knew my wife had not shot up all of them
But right know 380's seem scarce. At least here and what can be found is very pricey. (9mms and 45ACP, 10MM, and 38SPLs are everywhere.) 22LR is still an issue but Fin Feather & Fur in Ohio usually has 500 packs bulk but it's a 40 minute ride to the nearest one.

Midway USA in Columbia, MO, is accepting backorders. According to their website, the hollow points are overdue and the round nose are due in 4 days. They will let you order a case of 5,000.
They are charging normal pre-panic prices, too.

My LGS has had bricks of 22LR continuously available for $17.99 for known customers since I can remember.
