What's your favorite, least favorite food?
Favorite: Anything Italian, especially lasagna and pizza.
Least favorite: Broccoli. I can't stand the look, smell and taste of it. If I was starving I'd rather eat shag carpeting.

I'm always up for pasta, especially with my Marinara sauce on it. Its sweet, spicy, & super chunky. Yum! Panamanian style rice & chicken. Also, an eye of the round roast, prepared again, Panamanian style. Broccoli & Rice casserole. I loves me some rare steak! I won't touch fish, crustaceans, brussel sprouts, lima beans, green beans, & asparagus.

Damn few things I won't eat and, if properly prepared, enjoy. The ones I enjoy include Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, kale, that whole family. I love liver, especially chicken livers. Beets and turnips are great. I'm crazy about kimchi.
I have trouble with the texture of raw meat or fish, and don't care for chitterlings or hog brains. Never tried tripe. Don't care much for coconut or walnuts.
I was raised to believe that sweet cornbread is edible, but wrong except when considered a dessert. And I like my iced tea unsweetened.

Least: I'm gonna have to say roast cow eyeball. And with BSE around, I won't eat sesos.

I can get up from the table after a good meal, & if I smell good pizza, I can eat it, even not hungry. So, I guess good pizza is my favorite. Least favorite, almost any cooked vegetable. Funny thing is, I like most raw vegetables, but cook 'em, & they lose all their appeal to me.

Having been born in the bottom of the Depression [1931] I was instructed at an early age to eat what was on my plate & be Thankful. Guess that's true today except there is no depression according to our Govt. But I'm still not fond of rice. The rest of the foods mentioned here I like.

My favorite food is meat. Now, I don't like organs (kidneys, liver, brains, etc) or weird stuff (sow belly, pigs feet, etc.) Just good old American beef, chicken, and pork, cooked in traditional American ways. I'm not a real big fan of fish, unless you count Long John Silver's...but I do like shrimp and oysters (both fried.) In the meat category, my supreme favorite is chicken fried steak.
My least favorite is almost any vegetable. I do like potatoes, and I can do OK with vegetables if they are battered and fried, like onion rings. Otherwise, not so much.

Liver and onions is inedible, followed closely by green peppers.

I love to cook and have too many favorites to pick.
But, least favorite, all day everyday.... oatmeal! And I have to
eat it every day as per DR. Wall paper paste probably
tastes better.

Y'all just don't know what's good.
Least favorite: Raw cucumbers, raw broccoli(I love it steamed or stir-fried) don't care much for beef liver. horseradish of any kind, that stuff should be labeled "Vicks", grapefruit. Orange marmalade, why would anyone do that to good citrus? Well done beef= dog food(except good BBQ brisket). Any dry meat(except jerky) and I'm really not fond of salmon, it has a bad aftertaste.
Favorite: almost everything else
Waitress: "Do you want any steak sauce with that?"
Me: "I'd better not."

I would like to amend my least favorite food to read "anything my first ex-wife cooked".
I remember buying her a smoke detector to tell her when to turn the food over.
Man it was bad. How bad? I'll tell ya how bad. Every night my daughter would beg me to send her to camp in Ethiopia. That's how bad. I tell ya how bad it was. We had to call a hazmat team to take care of the leftovers. She was bad. Even when we had picnics. Ants would run away. One year I bought her a cook book. She cooked it. She was bad, boy. I used book airline flights just to get a decent meal. My wife would say "why are you always traveling so much, you must be starved." I'd always say "I am honey, what do you say we go to pet smart, they have purina you like on sale". Man, memories. This thread brings back memories. Why, I remember................

Least favorite: Anything Italian, Gooey bread, hot tomato sauce, garlic and soft, stringy noodles. Yuck!
New favorite. There's a barbecue guy who has a roadside truck very near the entrance to my Trap Club. I think he's only there on the weekends, but I always ignored him.
Stopped there Sunday after shooting (and none too well) and bought a pound of brisket and pound of pulled pork. IME brisket is hard to get just right, but his was more than perfect. Probably the best two meals my wife and I have ever had and I can't wait for the weekend.
I still love rare steaks, chuck roasts and fresh (as in just off the boat) fish.

Don't I wish. I'd probably be able to afford two boxes of ammo. That would be something , wouldn't it? Two boxes. I haven't had two boxes of anything since my mother threw two boxes out in traffic and told me to go build a fort. My mother, she was a real card. I remember the day she dropped me off at the adoption center. She told the receptionist she found me at Nathans in Coney Island. I knew she was just kidding because I hadn't been to Nathan's.
Yeah, my mother, rest her soul. She'd still be here if my first ex wife hadn't invited her over for dinner.
