Hope he makes it--just like Scott Eastwood.

I have a paperback copy of that book by the mom of his last girlfriend, the one he began dating when she was 15. (Beverly Aadland.) She lived with him pretty openly, and I think the gosssip columnists made jokes about it.

When Flynn died at just 50, the girl was 17 and they were engaged. The romance seemed quite genuine.

After Errol's early death from a heart attack, the girl's mother was charged for her daughter having been Errol's lady while underage. She did some time for it, then wrote the book. It's pretty good, as was Flynn's own book, "My Wicked, Wicked Ways."

When was he with the woman shown? is the kid his son, Sean?

His publicist put out a story that the actor was from Ireland. He was really born in Hobart, Tasmania, an Australian state.

Did you see the photo of Flynn on his yacht with the Randall Made knife? RBScrim posted it here a few weeks ago?

I didnt know that (the book and jail thing) about the last girl he was with or her mother, but did know of their relationship. He was 50 when he died and the girl was with him where he was somewhere in Canada.

Ive had and read his autobio--but been over 20 years since. Did you know that early on-he wrote at least two books--one called: Beams End.

Sean was his Son, he acted some, but not much. Later on he became some sort of Army? or War Correspondent and was sent to Nam. He and a friend disappeared when out riding a motorcycle--somewhere in Nam. According to Luke Flynn, they were most likely captured by some NVA or Khmer Rouge types, killed and their bodies later found. Up till I read what Luke said, I never knew their bodies were ever found.

Errol's Daughter, (I cant remember her name?) lived in Jamaica with Wymore-who basically disowned her because she became a major drug abuser-kicked her off their 2,000 acre estate/ranch, and she was found dead of a drug overdose and in poverty some several years ago. This gal apparently slept around with anyone who could supply her with illegal drugs.

Sean Flynn looked like a young carbon copy of his dad.

I saw posted on youtube or somewhere--Errol's last movie: Cuban Rebel Girls--which was a sad shame that thats what ended up being his last movie. It was a piece of garbage and he really looked about 25 years older than his actual age.

According to Luke Flynn, he met Patrice when he filmed the Western: Rocky Mountain--which is a Civil War western) as she was a female lead in it. Also, she was the female in a Coach in the last couple of scenes of: Don Juan. I dont know the exact dates they were together the but--at least 8-9m years. I think they separated late 1958??

I recently found a press photo telling of Flynns funeral - which I think was in Oct 59? and showed Patrice in the photo. I forgot to buy it so dont know if sold or not? If not, im buying it.

I dont recall seeing the knife, but ill bet if he was in a photo and on a boat--that he was on the Siccorro.

And then there was the expression "in like Flynn". Ever wonder about the source of that one?

Ive read about the source--which is also a "play" on the In Like Flint--James Coburn movie. It angered me to see a few posting elsewhere about Wymores death--using that trio of words.

This thread piqued my interest and I just spent some time on Flynn on the Net.

Yes, Flynn died at 50 in Vancouver, B.C. He was in a doctor's apartment with friends after complaining of leg pains. Beverly was then 17. She'd been with Errol for two years. The book her mother wrote was, The Big Love. It 's now out of print and a collector's item.

Wikipedia has quite a bit on them.I was going by memory when I posted that he died at about age 47-48. I've corrected it in my earlier post.

Flynn was an alcoholic and had degenerative spinal disease and other problems. He looked much older than he was. An autopsy said that his liver was that of a much older man.

Sean was presumed murdered by Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in 1970 while a war corrrespondent for, Time.

I didn't look for anything about Luke Flynn yet.

Don't know which model of Randall knife he owned. It was said by someone to be Model 1, but the sheath looked a little too curved, I thought. It did have the double guard/hilt. They may have used the same sheath for several models then. If RBScrim sees this, maybe he'll re-post the photo and comment? Unless the photo neg. was flipped, Flynn wore the knife on his left side. Was he left handed? I haven't seen his movies in years.

I accidentally stumbled on something Luke wrote--when looking for pictures of him for this post. He wrote something on a website? or such--which was where I got the info about Sean Flynn.

That family--such tragedy. Had Flynn not been addicted to the bad stuff? I think could have made a comeback. I think Sean, had he lived--might have made a name for himself in Acting. I would like to see this guy and Clints Son--Scott--make it big in hollywood. They couldnt totalli live up to their Grand dad and dads presentation on screen, but they both would be a constant reminder of their others presence.
