I always watched "Hee Haw" on Saturdays and always enjoyed the wit and humor. There were always some very talented people on the program and the program was a pleasure to watch.

I did not know that Lu Lu was raised in an orphanage, and due to her weight, she was never adopted. If I am correct, she was on the first program, and the last:

Perhaps she lived in the Buckner Children's Home orphanage; a huge institution even many decades ago. I haven't been in that part of Dallas in a long time but I assume it's still in operation.
