For fans of Westerns like me, check this free site out!!!
Id completely forgotten about this site: Westerns on the Web | Watch Westerns Movies online free. Full length Western Movies, Western TV shows, Western Films and Original Western Webisodes.
You can watch many Western movies and tv episodes for free there. Anyway, just a heads up if you had not known about it before now?

Thanks! What a great site. First thing I did was click on Anthony Quinn westerns to see if they had "The Man From Del Rio" and there it is. I've wanted to see that one again for a long time. And sure beats Robot Monster!

Quite welcome. Anthony Quinn is one of my all time favorites. He was great as one of the bad guys in: The Texas Rangers Ride Again. This movie is in an either ten or twenty Westerns movie pack you can get at WM for either ten or five bucks.

Fine website. Too bad the movie producers liked to set many of their stories in the year 1867 or so and arm their actors with Colt Peacemakers and Winchester 73's and 92's. Good acting makes up for bad props though.
Thanks!

I like to watch old westerns, but I hate it when all the dust gets
in my eyes.

Thank you and that is what I aim to do when I get that new DvD recorder--after computer :-)) Im not getting my fill of Westerns from AMC or TCM so need to fill the gap. Im a bit chagrined though, Walmart got me started collecting Western TV series like: Cheyenne, Tales of Wells Fargo, The Lone Ranger, Rawhide, Bat Masterson and a few others--but never get in anything past Season 1. I think ill file a huge complaint to Sam Waltons kids.

I loved The Cisco Kid when I was a kid--last time I saw any eps was when the Christian Broadcasting Network played old Westerns all Sunday. Man I sure miss those days (early 80s) as they had shows like: Rin Tin Tin, F Troop, The Rifleman, Wagon Train, The Lone Ranger-back to back with The Cisco Kid, The Big Valley (which I never thrived for but was ok) and The High Chapperal. Man I miss those Sundays. The only Cisco Kid I see available on DvD--arent even decent quality. I was hoping that Mill Creek (the best of the public domain DvD printers) would print them up and sell them. They always use the best of the PD stuff available. Alpha Video--is the most absolute worst ive seen.

I forgot to mention, there was another on the net that showed only Westerns but--either they no longer exist or they changed their name. They were: The Gold Buckle Network.

I just saw they mentioned hopefully getting some of the episodes for: The Grey Ghost series. Ive been wanting to see those since first hearing of the series well over 30 years ago. I hope they also get some from: Northwest Passage as well.

My wife and I just watched an episode of "The Men From Shiloh", which was a try at reviving "The Virginian" that didn't work out. Lee Majors is really good in this.

Hi Rod, quite welcome. Same here on Gary Cooper--I always liked the way he did his characters. When iwas younger--the only Cooper movie I ever saw was one that he still did well in, but I didnt really like. It was around 1980--that I finally got a chance to see what gary Cooper could really do. WTBS--played a marathon of his movies including: Sergeant York, Unconquered, Pride of the Yankees, The Westerner, Beau geste etc. Till that time, the only Cooper movie I ever saw played in my area-was Freiendly Persuasion. They did the same with James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart. I was limited to Cagney only in: Mister Roberts, and Bogie in: The Caine Mutiny. I never had been given a chance to grow to ike them being those two movies were the only ones they ever payed locally. I also grew upwith out any Errol Flynn movies too.
Because of this above--is partly why I collect DvDs. I do have cable--but dislike it since its mostly reality trash etc.
