Somebody sent me one many years ago--many years ago, I was in my thirties as I recall--that said, "Thinking of you. I knew someone else who had what you have." Inside the card it read, "And he lingered and lingered..."

I've always had strange friends.

I wonder why?

One of my sister-in-laws husband had a history of hernias. He had another hernia surgery. I sent him a card that said " I would have sent you a funny card but was afraid you would laugh so hard you would get another hernia".
He was not amused. Oh well, he was not one of my favorite people anyway.

This is one of my favorites. As I recall, the card had a more menacing image, but my memory is not perfect.

Back last winter me and Miss Pam had both been down with the flu and it was absolutely miserable around here. One of my good fishing buddies sent me this.

For some reason it made me laugh out loud and not feel so hopeless about everything. I still have to smile every time I see it.

Recovering from surgery? Can finally sit at the computer? I strongly recommend you hide your own credit cards! My shoulder surgeries cost me a fortune!

Heal well, you'll be good as new in no time. Ed
