LaserLyte Training Systems Anyone?

Just curious if anyone else has tried this system out yet. I bought the pistol laser, training targets, and the 3 pack of pop up cans a few weeks back and I have to say it makes dry fire practice a lot more enjoyable!

My girlfriend even likes practicing now, and that's saying something. Anyone else tried this system out yet?

I have a rifle using the laser dot sight but I haven't proved it to be good or not. I also been sighting scopes in with the laser bore sighter but haven't benchrested them yet.

I'm not sure about lasers on guns but my six cats are laser light trained since they were kittens. Inside there normal house cats but outside there trained panther tigers. Nothing the breathes is safe.

First the pictures that they post on the net are very deceptive. The actual target is 2.5 X 2.5 inches and the frame is 3.5 X 2.75 so you have to be a pretty good shot to start with to use this thing. Second the Bluegun that comes with the trainer bears no resemblance to any firearm I’ve ever shot. Bottom line you’re better off getting the specific laser cartridge for your gun and the target and skipping the blue gun altogether

This isn't a laser sight or a bore sight tool, it's a sound activated training tool that's inserted into the bore of your (unloaded) firearm. When you pull the trigger it sends a burst of laser at the laser activated target. As I said, definitely livens up dry fire practice.

Not sure what was available in February but there's no need to buy a gun specific tool now; the one that I bought works in anything from a .380 up to a .45. So far it fires every time I pull the trigger in my .40 and in my girlfriend's .380 so I have no complaints.

The targets are small, but I'm aiming at the same small dot on it as I do on the larger paper ones anyway, so it doesn't bother me. I've learned a lot about what happens when I don't control trigger press, and it's humbling to watch that little burst of laser flicker off to one side, so it's definitely helping me to learn to control trigger press!
