Had a taste, with a cigar, when I was about 14. Got real sick and missed school the next day.
Got a belt upside my butt though.

If you will Google 'Upstand' and 'Clickstand', you will find 2 bike stands that don't attach to your frame, but support your bike by leaning it on them. When you are ready to go, move the bike upright while holding onto the stand, fold it up, put it in your bike bag or knapsack, and off you go.
Mr. Frankenbike and the little Mrs. all ready to go out and play this weekend.
How do you pedal with the Heinie keg instead of a water bottle?

That's what my wife says when she wants me to do something.
They don't last long enough to make the trip.
I just make table lamps out of the empties.
My wife claimed this one as her own.

My daughter competes in Iron Man. She ride like thirty miles every day...so her old dad doesn't have to. She can't stop. Nuts, I tell ya.

I put a gazillion miles on my big Moto Becane. I was healthy and skinny. Hmm. Sold the bike, not skinny no mo, I think I see a pattern here......

Thanks! I saw a kickstand that attaches to the rear of the frame but sticks out almost past the wheel. Is that what you're referring to? I really didn't care for that, kind of messes up the looks of the bike. It may become an option if I drop the bike a few times.
Raleigh and Peugot were the big names back in the day. I had a 12 speed Bridgestone Kabuki.
This bike is 27 speed, trying to find my way thru the gears for the varied terrain..
Ever try a Flick-Stand? I had one and it's the bomb. It simply locks the front wheel/tire straight and the bike will lean against anything.

Interesting, but I'm trying to travel light, even my 642 is weighing me down.
Oh well, off t continue training, Labworm is in much better shape.

I've been meaning to start riding my bike again to get into shape for grouse hunting this fall. I have an aluminum frame Schwinn that I bought at a superstore. Probably should have gone to a bike shop but this one does the trick.
I have dirt roads here to ride on and with traffic sometimes it gets a little scary. I do carry my S&W Model 37 as it's light and doesn't weigh me down.
Some nice looking bikes pictured here and this thread gives me some motivation to start riding again.

I figure two places.
On the trail, showing off his new bicycle, which I happen to be jealous about.
In the Bicycle store, looking at lights, speedometer, bells, bags and even maybe an antenna with a raccoon tail.
Little kids just don't have the cash, but big kids do.
He is not only exercising but having lots of fun.
