BlueTooth Question
I have an Ipod Touch that is currently paired to a BT headphone. Can it be simultaneously paired to a BT speaker?

Never tried it.
Give it a shot. See what happens. Share the results.

They should both have a unique bluetooth address so they should both pair up to the iPod. I have two keyboards paired to my iPad and that works. Can't say if they will work at the same time, I haven't tried that yet. Might be worth try.

After pairing you may have to go in settings to pick the device you want to use at that time. Not a Ipod but that's the way my Samsung 3 is unless I'm doing something wrong.

You are supposed to be able to pair to multiple devices at one time as long as they are different types of devices. For example, my Mac is paired to a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse at the same time and I can still connect to my phone as an external storage device.

I have to order a speaker in order to test it. Didn't want to order one until I heard positive results.

Do you live near a BestBuy? The Geek Squad people are fairly knowledgeable.

Did some reading tonight. From what I found, you can have multiple devices connected. However, there are different Bluetooth profiles. These profiles can only be used on one device at a time. So no you can't have a set of headphones and a speaker connected at the same time since they would us the same audio profile. But I could be wrong. Do some research on Bluetoot profiles.

I can use my Bose Soundlink BT speaker as the same time as my BT headphone for my Galaxy Note 3, but the audio will remain coming thru the Bose while the headphone will just work for a phone connection. (Unless I turn off the Bose, then audio and phone switches to the stereo headphones).
I hook into my's '10 F-150's stereo with BT all the time for hands free phone, my Waze app, Pandora, Spotify, Slacker and my Galaxy's audio library.
Music won't play thru two different BT connections at the same time from my Galaxy, but it can be hooked to two different BT devices at the same time.
My iPad 4 does not hook to two diffent BT devices at the same time cuz Apple is behind the curve with that aspect and NFC (Near Field Communication), too.
My truck came with Sirius Radio, but with the BT option (Ford's Sync System) and the USB-2 port in my truck (over 5,000 songs on a flash drive), I have no reason to pay to listen to the radio.
