Default I bought a revolver with bad timing. (18-4)

So, I promised my girl I wouldn't buy any more Smith & Wessons for a while. Then my good friend Richard at my local gun shop got a really nice 18-4 that he wanted 500.00 for. What was I suppose to do? I dropped by and was paying him for it when my girl dropped in and said, "I saw your bike and stopped in , and what are you doing?!!!!" Like I said , bad timing.

You could have said, "I'm selling this S&W to them." and hoped that your friend was quick on the uptake.

Agreed arjay, a new oversize hand and maybe a gunsmith fee would be a lot cheaper than a new saddle, new boots, couple of outfits, God knows what else.....

You gotta learn how to use the phrase all our wives use, " What, this old thing? I've had it for years." Just make sure you hide the price tag.
