Thumbs up The S&W Forum Cruise Ship

Sometimes I just have great ideas. Actually, I had this idea for a long time, but the recent boat thread made it clear to me that it truly is a great idea

We need a S&W forum cruise ship!

Just us and our loved ones. Dining- and dancing, movie theater, lounge, spa, pool, strip club, conference center, gym, gambling and... wait for it... shooting range

I can see it... clearly... new paint job like this website (blue, grey, silver, black, white), a nice crew, forum gun shop (just like here with items for sale/trade), guest appearances like singers for a daily entertainment program, sponsor program, etc.

Still with me? These ugly tables and chairs need to go btw.

Cost? Only $15.000.000,00! Sounds a lot you might say.

But we get a 465 ft. ship for 1000 people that goes up to 17 knots. For more data please look here: Cruise Ship for Sale

And the best part? Divide the price through the total members here. Yes, I'm awesome, thank you

I'd say Lee takes the member payments and then buys that ship.

We hire a crew and get it here to the US. Then we refurbish it incl. paint job. And then we start selling tickets to our membership here.

I'd apply for the job as XO if you allow me and I'll make sure that everything goes smooth and is to your liking

What is better than cruising the oceans, go on sightseeing tours and relax. And all this with your friends!!!

We could call it "Magnum" or "Blue Steel" or "Gorilla Tours"

So, tell me, what do you think?

The SS United States is rusting at a Philadelphia pier. I think it would have more "class" than a modern cruise ship.

Then...

Oh, really? So, there is some truth to the rumor that you have been looking into a Diesel Electric Submarine then?

Yep I can see it now. A knock down drag out on the upper deck over concealed carry vs open carry. I'd be sittin' there with a cold beer eatin' popcorn.

The S&W Forum Frigate would drift more than some of our best threads. We'd end up as a ghost ship, a collection of seafaring cadavers futilely waiting for someone to pry the grail guns from our cold dead hands.

I'm thinking the S&W Forum Cruise Ship would be a grand idea. But, there's all the add on items, which would add to the price, such as powder magazine, target barge, etc.

Such nonsense.
An Iowa class Battleship with 16 inch guns should please any big bore forum wannabe here.
Personally, I would hang out around the 40mm AA guns.
Such Nonsense !

Do you anticipate the possibility of bears on this ship? If so, what caliber of handgun would you recommend?

We can always upgrade and add guns to the ship at a later point. So as a mini golf course, skeet shooting, nuclear reactor, helicopter landing zone (for Lee's privately owned Huey), water slides into the ocean, etc.

The rooms will have internal locks but we won't use MIM furniture.

Sorry, no bears allowed. This will be a Bear Free Zone and we'll post a sign that makes sure it will stay that way.

You could equip it with a few depth charges and cruse over to Stockholm archipelago
We could use some help right now.

I would like to volunteer to interview all female job applicants and use my fabulous flair for fashion to design their uniforms.

Ugly old men need not apply....and you know who you are!

Sorry, no bears allowed. This will be a Bear Free Zone and we'll post a sign that makes sure it will stay that way.
My opinion is unqualified in every respect, I admit, but I can't see how we can't have bears onboard. Everytime communication starts to break down here on the Forum, someone cranks up a bear thread and the crowd goes wild. Just my unqualified opinion, of course....

A bunch of mostly middle age guys with all you can eat buffets and fried food stuck in one place that floats. Better make sure the ventilation system works.

Well, if it sunk then we could legitimately tell the authorities we lost all our guns in a tragic boating accident........

This thread keeps saying ship. In my mind I keep seeing a bunch of old fat guys in a leaky pirogue.

We would, of course, need a broccoli-free zone. Preferably up forward.

As for that pirogue, I'm remembering a ten-foot aluminum johnboat I had many years ago. I named it J. Hamilton Pizpo. My late brother and I, both over two hundred pounds, would load the doomed vessel with another hundred pounds of fishing gear, leaving about an inch and a quarter of freeboard, and fish in all kinds of wild weather.

I'm sure the poor chump who stole it drowned almost immediately. But I'd like to suggest that its illustrious name be given to the S&W cruise ship. Seems fitting somehow.

Politics would ruin the day. Next, we'd be looking at screening people that wanted a ride. Interpol background check, anyone?
