JUST TRIED SOME NEW BAKED BEANS

On my Hunting trip last week we tried a new version of Bush's Baked Beans called "Steakhouse Style". They were very very good and definitely worth a try. I have always had their regular Vegetarian version which are great, but these are a bit more flavorful and go fantastic with the Prime NY Strip Steaks we just BBQ'd for dinner this evening. YUMMMMMM!

Beans always taste better on a hunting trip &#55357;&#56841; I like all the different Bush favors. I also sleep alone.

now that hit home because last week when we tried them for the first time (Hunting Trip) I DID sleep in a sleeping bag after eating them! Good thing we smoked our Cigars outside........

The Hunting Cabin we stayed in was built just prior to the Revolutionary War and there is no heat except for two fireplaces. There is no insulation and my friend bought it 42 years ago strictly as a summer home. Now that he is retired he and his wife go up North and are there from April to October and last weeks temperatures were in the high 20's - hence the Down sleeping bags.

I like the Bush products. Will look for that one.
Us country boys like the Bush Purple Hull Peas.
They are usually on the bottom shelf right on the floor.
You need a really short legged dog to find them.

I never understood why hunters go to great lengths to hide their scent from game animals and then eat beans on their hunting trip.

Talk about a disturbance in nature.....The sound will bring in bull elk from miles away and the odor will repellent from twice that distance.

Doesn't make any difference when I am Pheasant Hunting with a dog. The Pheasants don't mind!

Well as long as this thread has been "corrupted" more than Baked Beans - what gets me going BIG-TIME is Frozen Yogurt! My family and friends always know when I have had some.... Even my dog moves to the next room.

Used to make spam and baked bean hero sandwhiches and a couple hours later the fun would start. Used to call them Ban sandwhiches. Anyway the bush baked beans have also a maple flavored one which is good with tube steaks. Frank
