Has anyone read J Henry Fitz's book
Shooting which was published in 1930? And would you recommend it?
Don't you just love the hat.
Oh course it was written for a different era. Still, if he was a colorful writer or filled in the instructional aspects with anecdotes it might be a good read. I would be disappointed if it was written like Bill Jordan's book No Second Place Winners. No disrespect intended here. That book was pretty dull for those not intending to become LEO. Again, no disrespect intended.
I would be interested in hearing about other books that Smith fans have enjoyed. I just learned that there is a novel titled
I Love My Smith & Wesson by David Bowker 2004. Obviously a detective crime novel not necessarily of interest to this group.
I am focused on Fitz's modified fighting snub nosed revolvers but also interested in any titles you might suggest.
