Chupacabra vs. the Alamo (2013)
A DEA agent (Erik Estrada) and a band of outlaws battle bloodsucking creatures at the Alamo.
I can't believe someone made this ****. The "star" says a lot about it. They must have had the ringo kid in mind when they came up with the idea.

Well, the draft script had them to battling Zombie Illegal Aliens. However an unnamed country south of the Rio Grand allegedly threatened to hack the DMV. And now you know the rest of the story.

I always wonder if these sort of movies started out as "adult features," but the "actors/actresses" were caught in a vice sting the night before? Since the crew and equipment are rented, the show must go on. And you see the results.

I enjoyed that one. Erik Estrada is a reasonably entertaining and interesting fellow. He is a gun nut and notable NRA member. I think at one point he ran for board of directors.
Since the usual inclination is to call for a boycott of an anti gun actors project, I suppose we all ought support this one...

Someone--probably a small group of guys--had to be really seriously impaired to come up with that. Almost as trashed as the geniuses who thought up the Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is a really scary thought.

Some of their earlier "'efforts" that were even worse are: Mansquito and SS Doomstrooper. Trooper started off in a good direction but quickly went north...

I think the producers spent a ttal of $1.31 cents on this effort though.

Actually, the TMNT cartoons that were on back in the late 80s and early 90s--were well done and I watched them when I got home from work. However, I think all the movies made suck prune pits.

Although fairly rare in S. Texas, Chupacabra's are always a threat. Thankfully your average 9mm or 38 spec. is usually more than enough gun against one.

Okay, but the basic concept is, you must admit, desperately strange.
Reminds of the band--can't recall the name--whose lead singer was a 300 pound Elvis impersonator. They did reggae versions of Led Zeppelin songs. I did not make that up.
Somebody had to be fertilizer-faced and laughing his tail off when he came up with that idea.

Saw the last three minutes of it the other day. A true stinker.
No "Plan Nine from Outer Space" or "Prince of Space" ...but still a stinker.
I swear ScyFy does a movie a week anymore. A few washed up actors run around and do the lines, then the FX guys fill in the creature du jour on the computer.
Few years back I ran into Eric Estrada waiting to go into the buffet at a casino in Vegas, SHOT Show week. We ended up chatting in line for 20 minutes and he impressed me as a decent guy. The kind of guy you could enjoy through a dinner, a range trip or on a fishing trip.
But he REALLY impressed me when he sincerely thanked me for my years as a cop. The sentiment seemed to be very genuine.
BTW..."Prince of Space" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrexEsjnaUE
The MST3K version...the original version is unwatchable without the MST3K humor.

Well, in its defense, it will make a good candidate movie for Science Fiction Theater 3000.

I think the worst sci fi movie I tried watching was called: Santa Claus conquers the universe--having NOT seen either: The Green Slime or Plan 9 From Outerspace.
