Terror in Tunisia
I opened my Las Vegas Review Journal newspaper this morning
and on the front page was a story on the terror attack in
Tunisia yesterday along with a picture from Reuters showing
some police officers outside of parliament crouched behind
a short block with weapons drawn and aimed.
Two of the police offices had rifles that honestly looked like
paint ball guns. The other two police officers had Smith &
Wesson revolvers. One revolver looked like a model 10 or 13
with a 4" bull barrel, and the other policeman had what looked
like a Smith & Wesson model 19 with a 4" barrel,
Are you kidding me? The terrorists were probably using AK-47's
and these guys are using revolvers? Those tourists getting off
the bus didn't have a chance. You can bet the European cruise
lines will be scratching Tunisia off of the itinerary for sure.

Yep, Steyr AUG, standard issue in the Australian and Irish armies. Semi-auto versions are available in the US, including one that takes AR mags. See STG 556.
