When I was growing up anyone that dared to try to take the end cut of any meat risked my Dad's fork to the back of the hand.

I picked up a great trick from a favorite restaurant...
After cooking the meatloaf, slice and quckly grill over charcoal. Do this over a hot fire turning quickly to sear and just heat through.

Never thought I would want meat loaf for breakfast, but this thread has done it.
back in the late 60's we used to say on parting..... "keep a cool tool , dont let yer meatloaf"
