Default Home made Nopales sauce/salsa

My wife has been making me Tomatillo/Serrano green salsa but sometimes it's a little too tart. So I thought why not try Nopales instead since we have tons of cactus in the back yard. Well, it turned out great. The diced Nopales pedal is boiled first then cooked and rendered down with Serrano peppers, Habanero peppers, garlic, a bullion cube and maybe other steps I can't remember. It is a milder base taste than Tomatillos that's then enhanced by the peppers. I use a leather tool to quickly get the thorns off the petals.

Wyatt: My wife is white bread all the way from Michigan. I brought her out her to LV and she started nibbling on the delicious Mexican based food we have so available. Now, she is a full blown pepper belly. She preserves Jalapenos in both a sweet/hot sauce and a Cowboy Relish type spread. Both are delicious. We would like very much to trade receipts. .....

Every so often I get the urge for some hot pickled vegetables.
Like the ones the serve down in Mexico with tacos.
You can buy them , but the home made are better.
I make them sort of like this, I do add some cauliflower.
