Default M-1 Novelty?

The last couple nights I have been going through boxes of stuff
that I bought at auctions over the years. Sorting out keeper stuff.
I came across this "toy" gun in box of junk. It has a decal on
stock that says, Camp------, I think the missing portion was
Perry. Gun is made of some heavy cast metal. Could this be some
kind of trophy or award? Anyone ever seen one of these. Estate
auction box came from, owner was stationed at Perry during
WW2. At the least it will make a classy letter opener.

Is it the right size for a G.I. Joe?

Hard to tell what the scale is. How long is it?

Don't take it to school! You will get suspended and maybe even expelled.

My dad had one,,a letter opener is what it was and was bought as such in a souvenier shop at Niagra Falls in the 50's.

I've probably got it now in a box of stuff some where.

I've got one too! The bayo broke off when I was a kid. Papaw gave it to me when I was 8 or 9.
He was on the Ill. St. Police pistol team, back in the 30's & 40's, but I don't know if he
went to Camp Perry though.
