Gotta say, we had Hurricane Floyd in eastern North Carolina in 1999, and I've always thought he was well-named as the reckless bruiser that stomped us into the mud and held our heads under water 'til we like to have drowned. Not a fun time for us Tar Heels.

Back in 2003 we had a huge storm hit the Memphis area that did a lot of major damage with 100 mph straight line winds. Locally its refereed to as Hurricane Elvis.
